West Milwaukee Police Community Foundation
The West Milwaukee Police Community Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between our police department and the community we proudly serve. Our mission is to support programs and initiatives that build trust, enhance safety, and create positive, lasting connections between officers and residents.

We focus our efforts on three key community-centered programs: the K9 Unit, National Night Out, and Shop with a Cop. Each of these initiatives plays a vital role in making West Milwaukee a safer, more supportive, and more unified community.

K9 Unit
Our K9 officers play an essential role in keeping West Milwaukee safe. The Foundation provides financial support for the care, training, equipment, and long-term needs of our K9 partners. These highly trained dogs assist officers in searches, tracking, community demonstrations, and strengthening public engagement. Your support ensures our K9 team continues to operate at the highest level.

National Night Out
National Night Out is one of the largest and most anticipated community events of the year. This annual celebration brings neighbors together with local police for an evening of fun, safety awareness, and positive interaction. Through Foundation support, we provide activities, food, demonstrations, and entertainment—helping foster stronger connections and a shared commitment to keeping our community safe.

Shop with a Cop
Shop with a Cop creates an unforgettable holiday experience for children and families in need. The program pairs local kids with police officers for a special shopping trip where they can choose gifts for themselves and their loved ones. By funding this program, the Foundation brings holiday joy to families while building trust and meaningful relationships between young people and our officers.
